Franklin Police Ask For Public's Help Finding Missing Woman

Update: Franklin Police said on January 22 that Kayla Quagan has been located.

FRANKLIN (CBS) – Police in Franklin say a woman who was reported missing Saturday was seen on video on Monday may want to remain out of contact.

Kayla Quagan, 35, was last seen Friday morning with her small dog named Jimmy.

Late Sunday night, Franklin Police posted her photo on Facebook and asked the public for help finding her. On Monday afternoon, police said their investigation indicated Quagan has been seen on video and remains in the area.

"The Franklin Police remain committed to ensuring Qugan's well being, however at this time there is no indication that she remains out of contact other than by her own choice," the department said.

Police said Quagan has a 2009 gray Honda with Massachusetts plates bearing 8CJ415. Quagan, originally from Warwick, R.I., has only lived in Franklin since last December.

Her sister said Quagan forgot her phone at work and was supposed to pick it up, but never did. A co-worker turned it in to the police department.

Anyone with information is asked to contact police.
