Car Crash In Walpole Brings Down Power Lines Onto Main Street

WALPOLE (CBS) -- Main Street in Walpole was closed Sunday between Oakwood Road and Spring Valley drive after a car crash brought down power lines, according to police. The road will remain closed overnight.

Police said two poles landed on the road. The cause of the crash remains under investigation but the driver told police the airbag self-deployed before the crash.

"The morning commute could be affected if work is not completed overnight so please plan accordingly," said police.
