Autopsy Determines Death Of Boston Delivery Driver In Vermont Was A Homicide

ROCKINGHAM, Vt. (AP) — Vermont State Police say the death of a Boston delivery driver in southern Vermont was a homicide.

Police said Monday that an autopsy determined that 44-year-old Roberto Fonseca-Rivera, of Boston, died of a gunshot wound of the head and neck.

He was found in his truck on Route 103 in Rockingham on Friday evening. Fonseca-Rivera worked for Katsiroubas Produce of Hyde Park, Massachusetts. His last known location was at about noon on Friday, leaving Rutland and heading south on Vermont Route 103.

Anyone who saw the truck on Friday afternoon is asked to call the Vermont State Police barracks in Westminster. Police are also asking if any businesses, residents or vehicles have video of Route 103 from Rutland at 12:15 p.m. on Friday to Interstate 91 in Rockingham.
