Cumberland Farms Sold To British Retailer

WESTBORO (CBS) -- Cumberland Farms is being sold.

A retailer based in the United Kingdom called EG Group is buying the chain.

Cumberland Farms has been family-owned since it started in Westboro nearly eight decades ago.

The new owner says customers will not notice any big changes.

There are about 600 Cumberland Farms locations in eight states.
