BOSTON (CBS) – Police surrounded part of a Boston hospital overnight as a car riddled with bullet holes arrived at the emergency room entrance. One person was found dead inside the car and the driver was also injured.

Boston Police said just before 1 a.m. a car damaged by bullets pulled up in front of the hospital. One person was dead when the car arrived, and a second person was suffering from non-life threatening injuries.

Police believe the victims were shot on Percival Street in Dorchester around 12:45 a.m. Responding officers found ballistic evidence and damaged motor vehicles.
