Driver Dies After Being Hit By Amtrak Train In New Hampshire

NEWTON, N.H. (CBS) -- A driver was killed after their car was hit by an Amtrak train in Newton, N.H. Sunday, the Newton Fire Department confirmed.

According to Amtrak, the car and train collided around 5:50 p.m.

No one on the train was injured.

It is unclear how the car was on the tracks when the train was passing through.
