Shark Sighting Closes Truro's Head Of The Meadow Beach

TRURO (CBS) – A shark sighting temporarily shut down Head of the Meadow Beach in Truro Tuesday.

A spotter plane saw the shark at about 11:35 a.m., the Truro Beach Office said.

Authorities closed the beach for swimming for one hour.

It's not yet known if the shark is a great white.
