Woman Suffers Life-Threatening Injuries After Being Hit By Car In Saugus

SAUGUS (CBS) -- A woman was rushed to Massachusetts General Hospital after she was hit by a car in Saugus Thursday morning. Saugus Police and Mass. State Police responded to the Main Street crash around 10 a.m.

According to State Police, the woman has life-threatening injuries.

"Upon arrival, first responders observed a woman on the ground, with an off-duty Cambridge firefighter providing aid," said a statement from Saugus police.

The driver did stay at the scene and is not facing charges at this time.
