Quincy Police Officer Rescues Baby Opossum, Then Takes It Home

QUINCY (CBS) - A Quincy police officer made an unlikely rescue Tuesday night when he received a call for an opossum on Willard Street whose two siblings died.

Officer Tim Kaes responded to the call and was unable to find a wildlife center where the baby opossum could be brought.

Afraid it might die if left outside, Kaes brought the opossum home for the night, feeding it from droppers and keeping him safe.

Kaes also named his new friend -- Stone Cold Steve Opossum.
