CHARLTON (CBS) – A major crash involving tractor-trailers and cars tied up traffic on the Massachusetts Turnpike in Charlton during rush hour Thursday morning.

State Police say three trucks and three other vehicles crashed in the eastbound lanes of the Pike near the service plaza.

Traffic was backed up for miles.

The Charlton Fire Department said two people were taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
