Small Airplane Blows Tire, Veers Off Runway At Norwood Airport
NORWOOD (CBS) – A small plane blew a tire during takeoff at Norwood Memorial Airport and ended up in the grass next to the runway.
The incident happened around 11 a.m. on Thursday.
The Eclipse EA50 aircraft veered off of Runway 28 and into the grass. The pilot was the only person on board.
Members of the Federal Aviation Administration will investigate.
