Firefighters Battle House Fire In Hingham
HINGHAM (CBS) - Firefighters battled a house fire on Hobart Street Saturday night.
Hingham Police closed off Hobart Street between Main Street and Route 228 as crews battled the fire.
The fire broke out around 9:30 p.m.
According to the Hingham Fire Department, the home where the fire was had been vacant for years.
A hazmat team also responded because of a suspicious green liquid but it was determined to be a dye used by airplanes in World War II and harmless.
No injuries were reported. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
