HYANNIS (CBS) – A driver rammed by a car believes he was targeted because he had a President Trump bumper sticker on his SUV. A woman from Taunton is facing charges.

“I could hear her screaming out of the car or something, so I thought man maybe something’s wrong with my car,” said the man who did not want to be identified. “I get out, all of a sudden I hear, ‘You’re racist,’ and a bunch of cuss words.”

Police say the attacker is 25-year-old Chloe Wright of Taunton.

The victim recorded the incident as she first allegedly drove into the back of his car, then clipped his door, missing him by inches. “Her tire was right next to my foot,” he said. “That could have ended really bad.”

The incident happened on North Street in Hyannis, but he says it started earlier when she was honking and yelling at him. “The first thing she said when I came out of the car was ‘Did you vote for Trump?’ and I was like, ‘Yeah, what of it.’ And that was pretty much what triggered this, it was like nonstop,” he said.

Wright gave police an address to a home in a trailer park, but residents say an elderly woman lives at the address and they’d never heard of the suspect. She’s been charged with Assault and Battery with a Dangerous Weapon.

As for the victim, he’s only left wondering one thing: “Was it really worth it for her?”

PJ Media is reporting this incident happened June 30, arrest made July 30. If true, kind of hard to understand why. Confirmation, please?

  2. Either the woman has friends in the court, or the District Attorney is clearly showing a political bias. The video of this incident clearly shows that the woman attempted to hit the man with her car, that is “Assault with a Deadly Weapon” all day long. Also due to the fact that being hit by a car carries the likely hood of severe bodily injury, potential loss of limb, paralysis, or death… the charge of “Attempting Murder” is also relevant to the case and should have been applied.

Then of course there is the fact that this woman is clearly a threat to others and a menace to society if she is so easily set off to the point of attempting to assault and/or murder someone, therefore she should NOT have been allowed bail.

This is yet another example of the failed and corrupt Massachusetts “justice system” which likes to go easy on dangerous criminals and put the rest of populace at risk >8^\

Is this true? I didn’t see anything on ABCCBSNBCCNNMSNBC or in the NYTWaPo? Wonder why. Could it be they all support these actions? Now, if it had involved an “I’mWithHer” sticker on a car, it would have been the lead item!

hmmmm.. why does this happen to soft targets.. c’mon lady step up your game… consider yourself very lucky.. next time u might not b so lucky…u know what I mean

  5. I’ve always wondered how the majority of Mass residents can be Catholic and vote for baby killers and sodomites. Dems want God removed from America and society. They voted to remove God from their platform in the Dem Convention. They voted for Ted Kennedy after he murdered a girl. They must be insane to justify what they have done for the last 100 years. Romans 1 says since we won’t acknowledge God as our Creator, He has given us over to a reprobate mind. The first thing to go with a reprobate mind is men having sex with men and women with women. Then in verse 32, it says that even if you aren’t a sodomite baby killer, if you approve of such things, you are as guilty as the ones that do these things.
This woman was obviously that crazy.
