Stoughton Police Officer Cited In Deadly Canton Crash
CANTON (CBS) - A Stoughton police officer has been cited in a deadly Canton crash that killed a 74-year-old man in February.
State Police say Sergeant Paul Williams was off-duty when he crossed over a lawn and hit Ralph Hawkins.
Sergeant Williams has been cited for misdemeanor motor vehicle homicide, negligent operation and a marked lanes violation.
A clerk magistrate will determine if the case should go to trial.
