Mass. Native And National Guardsman Beams Patriots Pride At South Pole

ANTARCTICA (CBS) - A New York Air National Guardsman from Massachusetts has made it his mission to spread New England Patriots pride at the South Pole.

Master Sgt. Maurice Huard, who is originally from Cape Cod, shared photographs of a Patriots hat on top of the Ceremonial South Pole.

And his unit was filmed taxiing at McMurdo Station in Antarctica with a Patriots flag flying out of the airplane.

His daughter, Brianna Huard, called her father "a HUGE Patriots fan."
