Residents Displaced By East Boston Duplex Fire

BOSTON (CBS) – An overnight fire caused significant damage to an East Boston duplex.

Flames broke ou on White Place around 4 a.m., with the heavy fire in the rear of the building.

No residents were in the side of the duplex where the fire broke out.

The residents from the other side will be staying with friends.

Two adults and two children were displaced.

No one was injured in the fire.

It is not known what caused the fire, which caused $100,000.
