Water Restored To Residents, Businesses After Allston Water Main Break

ALLSTON (CBS) – Water service has been restored to residents and businesses in Allston a day after a water main break sent water gushing from the ground.

Boston Water and Sewer said a construction crew hit the main while digging at the corner of Brighton Ave and Linden Street around 2 p.m. on Friday.

Water was restored in the area around 8 a.m. on Saturday.

Several businesses were impacted by the outage, and apartments suffered flooding damage.
