Firefighters Knock Down Dump Truck Fire Without Leaving Station

CONCORD (CBS) – Concord firefighters didn’t have to go far to knock down flames that broke out in the bed of a dump truck.

The department shared photos from a fire that took place on the ramp outside Station 2 on Thursday.

Instead, firefighters simply ran hoses toward the bed of the dump truck.

“It’s not every day that you can put a fire out without moving the engine out of the bay!” firefighters tweeted.
