Shooting On I-93 Shuts Down Highway

DORCHESTER (CBS) -- Massachusetts State Police shut down the I-93 South near Exit 12 to investigate a shooting on Sunday evening.

According to officials, two men riding motorcycles were seriously injured when they were shot. One is receiving care at Tufts Medical Center and the other is at Boston Medical Center.

Sources tell I-Team's Cheryl Finadaca that the victims are a 54-year-old father and his 32-year-old son.

A suspect vehicle fled the scene.

State Police described the car as a red Jeep Renegade with two men inside.

Randolph Police said the car possibly exited on to Route 28.
