FALMOUTH (CBS) — A four-year-old boy drowned Saturday in a resort pool on Cape Cod.

Police say bystanders pulled the boy from the pool at the Cape Cod Camp Resort and Cabins in East Falmouth at about 1 pm  and tried to do CPR.

The bystanders did CPR on the boy until first responders arrived. The boy was still unresponsive as he was taken by ambulance to Falmouth hospital.

The child was pronounced dead.

Police have not released any details on the circumstances of the drowning.
