Child Car Seat Chest Clip Recalled Over Choking Hazard
BOSTON (CBS) -- Britax has announced the recall of more than 200,000 infant car seats because a chest clip could break off and become a choking hazard.
According to the company's website, several models of the "Britax B-Safe" seat were affected, including the B-Safe 35, B-Safe 35 Elite, and BOB B-Safe 35 models.
They said no choking injuries related to the buckle have been reported.
Britax said the car seats being recalled were sold between November 1, 2015 and May 31, 2017.
A free instruction kit with a replacement chest clip is being offered to those who contact the company.
