Jogger Struck While Crossing Commonwealth Avenue

BOSTON (CBS) -- A young woman was struck by a car while jogging Monday night.

Massachusetts State Police said the 19-year-old woman was hit while crossing Commonwealth Avenue at Charlesgate East around 9:30 p.m.

She was taken to Brigham and Women's Hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.

The car that hit her was a Subaru Forester driven by a 63-year-old man.

He is currently not facing charges, as witnesses told police he had a green light at the time of the crash.

The Subaru was towed from the scene, and State Police are still investigating the crash.
