Florida Man Visits Massachusetts, Wins $1M Powerball Prize
BRAINTREE (CBS) - A Florida man visiting family in Massachusetts for a wedding will go home with a million dollars.
Francis Rudeen of Englewood, Florida won the prize in the Saturday May 13 Powerball drawing.
Rudeen was visiting Massachusetts for a family wedding and bought the ticket at the Burlington Mobil on Bedford Street in Burlington.
The numbers were a winner and he picked up his prize at the Massachusetts Lottery office in Braintree Monday.
This is the third one million dollar winner purchased in Massachusetts this year. Saturday's estimated prize is $228 million.
