Huge Snowball Fight Held On Boston Common In Middle Of Storm
BOSTON (CBS) -- In the middle of a massive Nor'easter expected to dump up to 18 inches of snow across the area, a Facebook event called "anyone and everyone" to come to Boston Common to take part in a huge snowball fight.
"If it's a snow day tomorrow, this is happening. INVITE ANYONE AND EVERYONE :D," the post read.
More than 1,000 people RSVP'd to the event, and met at the gazebo on the Common at noon.
Dozens gathered to toss snowballs at one another before the bulk of the storm hit Boston.
