BOSTON (CBS) – The bomb squad was called to the Back Bay to investigate a suspicious package.

Boston Police officers responded around 8 a.m. for an item on Dalton Street, not far from Boylston Street.

The object turned out to be personal items that were left by a bike rack.

Members of the bomb squad cleared the scene around 9:45 a.m.

Streets around the item were blocked off to traffic and pedestrians until the all clear was given.
