4 Hurt In Fiery Crash At RI Gas Station

JOHNSTON, RI (CBS) – Four people were hurt after a car crashed into a Johnston, RI gas station and burst into flames.

State Police are investigating why the driver did not stop and are pleading for witnesses to come forward.

Three vehicles were involved in the crash Tuesday afternoon at a Sunoco Station on Hartford Ave.

When crews arrived at the scene, a vehicle was engulfed in flames.

Two people were taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries. It is unclear if they were hurt in the crash or in the fire.
