BOSTON (CBS) — It’s well-documented that Terrell Suggs does not like Tom Brady. He’s one of the few players in the league who seems to genuinely take his hatred to personal levels. He famously said he doesn’t like Brady’s hair back in 2010 and has referred to TB12 as “the pretty boy from up north.”

That moniker has apparently been part of a concerted effort by Suggs to treat Brady like Lord Voldemort or Beetlejuice – he’s refusing to say Brady’s name at all. Reporters asked Suggs a string of questions about Brady on Wednesday, which is to be expected ahead of the latest Patriots-Ravens showdown, and Suggs deftly tap-danced around uttering the name “Tom Brady.”

Tip of the cap to ESPN’s Jamison Hensley, who documented this particular exchange:

Reporter: “Is it fair to say you really don’t want to talk about Tom Brady?”

Suggs: “I’m like Marshawn Lynch. I know why I’m here. It’s a big game this week. We’re playing a good team. It’s going to be fun.”

Reporter: “You don’t want to say his name, do you?”

Suggs: “I mean, it’s going to be fun. We’re going to have fun. It’s going to be an interesting game. We accept the challenge.”

But hey, if it works for Suggs, sure, go nuts. But refusing to say Brady’s name probably won’t help matters on plays like this …
