David Pastrnak Scored Another Nifty Goal Against The Capitals [VIDEO]

BOSTON (CBS) -- David Pastrnak led the Bruins to a win on Monday with an eye-popping overtime goal. His impressive start to the 2016-17 season continued for the Bruins on Wednesday night with another nifty goal, this time on a breakaway against the Washington Capitals.

Watch Pastrnak's score in the above video. With just over a minute left in the second period and the Bruins trailing 3-1, Pastrnak darted after the puck into the neutral zone and zoomed past Capitals forward Evgeny Kuznetsov, who nearly tripped him on the play. Pastrnak kept his balance and broke in untouched on Capitals goalie Braden Holtby to slip a backhand through his pads and cut the Bruins' deficit to 3-2.

The Bruins eventually tied the game on Colin Miller's third-period power play goal, but Pastrnak's effort was certainly one of the catalysts for the Bruins' impressive comeback from a 3-0 hole.

Pastrnak, 20, is second in the NHL in goals with 16. He's behind only Sidney Crosby and rookie sensation Patrik Laine, who each have 17. The 16 goals are already a career high for Pastrnak, who is on pace for 56 goals despite missing five games earlier in the season.
