Jay Talking Travel: Return To Belgrade, Serbia

Having spent only one day in Belgrade on a previous trip, I found it much cooler than expected, and so recently I returned to devote multiple days to the city . Prior to arrival, I successfully took to Facebook to see if there were any locals willing to hang out and give me the lay of the land, so this experience was richer that the previous. While the city has its share of soul-sucking communist era architecture, it retains a charming funky grandeur. If you are looking for a new travel frontier, this may be it.
