Jones' Monday Night Blitz: Breaking Down Patriots-Jets

BOSTON (CBS) -- How do you feel after the Patriots' 22-17 road win over the New York Jets? One the one hand, Tom Brady led a fourth-quarter comeback and Chris Long made a clutch defensive play to strip-sack Jets QB Ryan Fitzpatrick to help seal the victory. On the other hand, the Patriots could have played better against the now 3-8 Jets and played better overall defense against Fitzpatrick, who finished with a 115.2 passer rating in the game.

98.5 The Sports Hub's Adam Jones and Rich Keefe started off Monday night's program looking at Patriots-Jets and how they feel about the team moving forward. ESPN's Mike Reiss argued that it was the Patriots' best win of the season, while CSNNE's Tom E. Curran believed that while the win was good, the Patriots didn't look great as a team. Jones agreed more with the latter.

"I can accentuate some positives. There were some good things that came out of it," said Jones. "Brady with the go-ahead drive, [Chris] Long with the big play, Malcolm Mitchell looks like a player ... but my overall feeling watching that game [on Sunday] was, 'That was disappointing.' It wasn't what I expected out of the Patriots at all after having left the jets for dead a couple of weeks ago."

Jones and Keefe later broke down the key plays of the game, the performance of Stephen Gostkowski, and the decline of Darrelle Revis. Listen to the full Monday Night Blitz below:
