BOSTON (CBS) – Singer-songwriter James Taylor is touring the nation’s iconic ballparks next summer, and of course, that means a stop in Boston.

Taylor announced Monday that he’ll play Fenway Park on August 11 with special guest Bonnie Raitt.

Tickets for the concert go on sale Friday.

Taylor has certainly been a friend to Fenway Park in recent years – he played sold-out shows at the ballpark in 2015 and 2016. He also performed the national anthem at Fenway during Red Sox World Series runs in 2004, 2007 and 2013.

Other parks on the tour include Chicago’s Wrigley Field, Nationals Park in Washington, D.C. and AT&T Park in San Francisco.

It was announced earlier this month that the New Kids On The Block will also play Fenway next summer with Paula Abdul and Boyz II Men.
