Boston big man Al Horford will not play against the Heat, the team announced on Monday. But fear not, Celtics fans, it is not because of an injury. Horford will rejoin Boston in time for Tuesday’s practice, according to head coach Brad Stevens:
Monday will be the 10th game of the season Horford will miss, after sitting out nine games at the beginning of the month due to a concussion he suffered in practice. Horford returned last Saturday and averaged 16.8 points and eight rebounds in his four games, guiding the Celtics to a 3-1 record. Boston is 5-2 overall when Horford plays, and just 4-5 without him on the floor.READ MORE: Gov. Charlie Baker Says Biden's Air Travel Restrictions Are 'The Right Move'
