Charlie Baker's Vote For President? No One

SWAMPSCOTT (CBS) – Massachusetts Governor Charlie Baker did not vote for anyone for president on Election Day.

Baker cast his ballot with his wife early Tuesday morning in Swampscott and told reporters afterwards he left the choice for president blank.

"No I didn't write anybody in for president," he said.

Throughout the campaign Baker said he would not support his party's nominee, Donald Trump, or the Democratic candidate Hillary Clinton.

Baker said it's the first time he hasn't voted for president.

"I'm obviously disappointed about that. But I have lots of friends who are voting for Hillary Clinton, I have lots of friends who are voting for Donald Trump and I respect their decision and I respect their opinion and the most important thing is that people need to come out and exercise their right," he said.
