Serious Crash Shuts Down Route 44 In Middleboro

MIDDLEBORO (CBS) - A man escaped a fiery crash in Middleboro Tuesday afternoon. Four vehicles, including a bucket truck, were involved in the crash that shut down part of Route 44 during the evening commute.

The Middleboro Fire Department says when they arrived a car was fully involved and the bucket truck was on rolled over on its side.

Four people sustained non-life threatening injuries.

Route 44 West was closed while the crash was cleared. An eastbound lane was also temporarily closed.

Middleboro Police are investigating the cause of the crash.
