Motorcyclist Killed In I-95 Crash In Burlington

BURLINGTON (CBS) -- A motorcycle driver was killed Sunday afternoon after crashing into a guardrail on I-95 north in Burlington.

Police say the motorcyclist, a 67-year-old Woburn man, was riding on on the access road to the Middlesex Turnpike at Exit 32 shortly after 4p.m. when his motorcycle veered into the right-side guardrail. The driver was thrown off the motorcycle and found unresponsive. He was taken to Lahey Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Authorities have not released the name of the driver. It's unclear what caused the motorcyclist to veer off the road. The incident remains under investigation.
