NH High School Football Coaches Dismissed For Drinking After Game

DOVER, N.H. (AP) — The superintendent of schools in Dover, New Hampshire, says several volunteer and assistant high school football coaches have been dismissed after a report that they drank alcohol following a game.

Elaine Arbour says the coaches were in a separate vehicle from the head coach and students, but they were still on duty traveling back to Dover High School after the game in Keene last weekend.

She says school board policy talks about not using alcohol at school events, whether it's on- or off-site.

Arbour said the decision was made to dismiss the coaches after reviewing the policy and conducting interviews.
