CONCORD, N.H. (CBS) – A wrong-way driver was charged with drunk driving early Saturday morning after causing a New Hampshire state trooper to crash into a guardrail.
The trooper was driving north on Interstate 93 near Exit 13 in Concord when he saw a man in a black Cadillac driving toward him.READ MORE: Thousands Of Chain Saws Recalled 'Due To Injury Hazard'
In an effort to avoid a head-on collision, the trooper swerved safely out of the way, but as a result crashed into a guardrail.

He was arrested and charged with drunk driving and reckless conduct.

The state trooper who crashed was taken to Concord Hospital and treated for minor injuries.
