10 Vehicles Damaged In Spree Of Early Morning Fires In Tyngsborough

TYNGSBOROUGH (CBS) -- Tyngsborough Police are looking into a string of vehicle fires that occurred within minutes of each other at different locations in town.

At least 10 vehicles were damaged in reported fires in the early morning hours on Saturday.

Police say they received the first report at 2:26am. on Saturday of two scooters on fire in the driveway of a home on King David Road. Two vehicles in the driveway were also damaged by the fire.

Minutes later, police received a report of two vehicles that were on fire in the driveway of another home on Bowers Avenue. Then, another call came in for a vehicle on fire at a driveway on Chester Avenue, which also damaged part of the home. The final call came in at 3:05 a.m. for three vehicle damaged by a fire in the driveway of two different residences on Mascuppic Trail.

Police are asking anyone with any information on the incidents to contact them.
