Natick Police Arrest Man Driving Fully-Marked Police Cruiser

NATICK (CBS) -- Natick Police arrested a man for driving a fully-marked police cruiser Saturday evening.

Jeffrey Mark Svendbye, 32, of Framingham, told police he bought the car at an auction, but investigators still aren't sure how the car came into his possession.

Police pulled Svendbye over on Speen Street around 5:30 p.m. Saturday.

They said he was driving a Ford Crown Victoria complete with police emblem and red and blue lights.

They also said he was carrying a police badge.

Svendbye had a warrant out of Framingham District Court charging him with failure to return leased property. Police charged him with driving a car with police lights, and gave him a citation for a license plate violation.
