STOUGHTON (CBS) — Stoughton police are looking for three suspects in a shooting at the CVS off of Washington Street.

Late Thursday afternoon, an 18-year old male was shot in the upper arm/shoulder area while he was in the check-out line.

Police said three people entered the store. They had words with the teen and shot him.

No one else inside was injured.

Witnesses said one of the three ran down the street, and another was placed in a police car.

Investigators spent the evening interviewing witnesses and looking at surveillance video. They said they had a pretty good idea of what happened.

Stoughton High School canceled all evening events and urged students to stay home and stay safe.

The store remained closed for the night with the drive-thru open for prescriptions.
