Ortiz was not pleased with home plate umpire Tim Timmons after he ended up striking out after being up 3-0 in the count, and shortly after he got the heave-ho for voicing his displeasure with Timmons, Papi his frustration out on the phone:

Ortiz was fined $5,000 for his destructive antics, but at least now he has a memento from that epic meltdown in Baltimore.

The Orioles honored Ortiz with a video featuring his famous home runs against the New York Yankees — something both Boston and Baltimore fans could cheer for. The team also made a $10,000 donation in Ortiz’s name to The World Pediatric Project, which helps critically ill children in the Dominican Republic.
