BOSTON (CBS) – A British Airways flight from London to Orlando was forced to land at Logan Airport Thursday afternoon.

State Police say Flight 2039 was diverted due to an unruly passenger.

The passenger, a 24-year-old man from Glasgow, Scotland, was taken off the plane at about 4:45 p.m. by Customs and Border Protection and State Police.

State Police will be summonsing the man for interfering with a flight crew.

No other information has been released.

  1. John Henrick says:

I don’t understand why planes are forced to land because of an unruly passenger. Why do they have air marshals, and why can’t they deal with such a person? If it means tasering and cuffing the passenger, let it be done. It’s such an inconvenience to the rest of the passengers.
