6 Keolis Employees Fired For Bad Time Cards

BOSTON (CBS) – Six Commuter Rail employees have been fired for having irregular attendance and not keeping a proper time card.

"Following an internal investigation, a total of nine employees were removed from service and subject to a formal disciplinary process," Keolis said in a statement. Six of those employees were fired on Wednesday.

Keolis is subcontracted to run the MBTA's Commuter Rail and says the behavior will not be tolerated.

"The actions of these individuals not only violated Keolis' standards of ethics for its employees, but undermines the trust placed in our organization by the MBTA and taxpayers of the Commonwealth," the company said.
