BOSTON (CBS) -– This bear could use a few selfie lessons.
Cameras on conservation property in Massachusetts got up close and personal with a bear’s face. The cameras were set up to keep an eye on local wildlife.
We couldn't resist posting this "extreme close-up" (bear selfie?) captured by a field camera used by our Conservation Restriction (CR) team. The CR team work tirelessly to help permanently protect land here in Massachusetts as well as working closely with our ecology team, and these cameras help keep tabs on the local wildlife. http://bit.ly/1MtQtvL #thetrustees #ecology #conservation #westernmass #intheberkshires #bears #bearsofinstagram
“We couldn’t resist posting this,” said the Trustees, which is the largest private holder of conservation restrictions in the state.
The organization isn’t saying exactly where the photo was taken because it happened on private property.
In neighboring New Hampshire earlier this week, bears were spotted frolicking in a Hanover backyard.
