BOSTON (CBS) – A brush fire in West Roxbury reached four alarms Saturday night.

Flames broke out behind The Roxbury Latin School and drivers could see smoke from Route 128.

Firefighters had to drag hoses hundreds of feet into the woods.

“It’s extremely difficult to get to, of course we have no roads, and no hydrants where the fire is,” said Steve MacDonald of Boston Fire. “It’s just very labor intensive.”

The fire is contained and no homes are threatened.
