Catch A Sneak Peek Of Warrior Ice Arena, Bruins' New Practice Facility

BOSTON (CBS) -- It's been a painfully hot and dry summer for many folks in Boston, but here's one thought that ought to cool you down: Hockey season is just a few weeks away.

Of course, the regular season won't begin until October, but the Bruins will be back in action before you know it.

And when they do hit the ice for training camp, they'll be doing so in their brand-new, state of the art practice facility in Brighton, just a few miles down Storrow Drive from the TD Garden.

Construction on the buildings has been easy to spot while driving by along the Mass Pike, but the Warrior Ice Arena account on Instagram offered a sneak peek of what it will look like inside when the Bruins hit the ice in September.

As you can see, the sheet of ice offers a pretty tremendous view.

The account also includes a rare video of a Zamboni being lifted into the building. (It's rare because -- be honest -- you've never seen a video like that before.)

And just to avoid any confusion, the building has been marked with a giant hockey stick.

The Bruins are moving away from their practice home at Ristuccia Arena in Wilmington, where they've practiced for the past 30-plus years. Training camp officially opens on Sept. 22.
