Man Found Stabbed To Death Inside Rhode Island Apartment
PROVIDENCE, R.I. (AP) — A man has been found stabbed to death inside a Providence apartment.
Police responded around 6 a.m. Saturday to a report of a domestic disturbance and found the 36-year-old man inside.
Major David Lapatin tells the Providence Journal the man was taken to Rhode Island Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Police are withholding the man's identity pending notification of his family.
There's no word on an arrest. Police did not provide further details.
The slaying is the city's sixth homicide of the year.
