CHELMSFORD (CBS) — Investigators are looking into a police-involved shooting Saturday night in Chelmsford.

State Police say there was a pursuit through Tyngsborough before the shooting occurred in the Graniteville Road area around 9 p.m. Ballistic and crime scene technicians, as well as detectives were called to the scene near Sully’s Ice Cream Stand.

Troopers, working through the Middlesesx District Attorney’s Office, will be handling the investigation.

The gender, age and condition of the suspect is currently unknown.

No additional information was immediately available.
