Dump Truck Strikes Bridge On Route 128 In Lexington
LEXINGTON (CBS) – Traffic was tied up on Route 128 north in Lexington Friday morning after a dump truck hit a bridge.
Pictures from the scene just after exit 30 show the truck bed nearly upright against the Route 2A overpass. There did not appear to be major damage to the bridge, but inspectors are examining it.
It's not yet known exactly why the accident happened. The dump truck was towed away before 8 a.m., and traffic congestion in the area was easing.
