3 Teens Shot Outside Roxbury Apartment Complex

ROXBURY (CBS) -- A 14-year-old girl was one of three people shot overnight at a Roxbury apartment complex, and police say the shooter is still at large.

Boston Police responded to calls about the triple shooting near an apartment complex on Bower Street around 12:30 a.m. They said a man ran into a courtyard and shot into a crowd.

The 14-year-old Keira Harrison was taken to Boston Children's hospital. Her grandmother told WBZ-TV's Chantee Lans that she had been watching fireworks outside when she was shot twice in the arm and once in the leg.

The other victims were a 17-year old male, who was taken to Brigham and Women's Hospital, and a 19-year-old woman, who was taken to Boston Medical Center.

Harrison's grandmother said she had just finished middle school.

All of the victims' injuries were described by police as non-life-threatening.

Police said the shooting does not appear to be random.
